Dear Diary:
There’s something sacred about watching someone finally see in themselves what you’ve seen all along.
That moment when their confidence catches up to their capability, when they stop asking, “Can I really do this?” and start saying, “Watch me.”
I’ve always said that The Admin Effect isn’t just a business. It’s a movement. It’s a space where people are encouraged to show up fully, to be seen, valued, and take up space unapologetically. It’s something that is MOST important to me.
Mainly because I know firsthand what it feels like to be overlooked, underestimated, or made to feel small. And I also know the power that comes from standing in your light after years of dimming it for someone else’s comfort.
When I get to witness someone on my team, or a client, or even a peer step into that light, it’s like watching a flame catch. There’s this quiet, powerful energy that fills the room. They’re no longer waiting for permission. They’re realizing they were the permission.
That’s the kind of culture we’ve built here. One where growth isn’t just encouraged, it’s celebrated. Where vulnerability isn’t weakness, it’s the doorway to strength, and every voice matters, because every voice has value.
I’ve seen task takers become outside the box thinkers. I’ve seen people who once second guessed every decision, now run meetings with authority. I’ve seen people who used to ask for a seat at the table build their own tables, and invite others to sit with them.
That’s the spark that catches when empowerment takes root. And the best part is, it’s contagious.
And it’s why I do what I do.
Because the most beautiful part of this work isn’t just building a business. It’s building belief.
It’s watching people discover that the very things they once apologized for are actually their superpowers.
So, dear diary…This is what fills my cup.
Witnessing others step into their light reminds me why I stepped into mine. When we shine together, no one gets dimmed, the whole room just gets brighter.
Until next time,
Katelyn
