An awesome opportunity was presented to me one year ago to join The Admin Effect team (TAE) as CFO. I soon became responsible for overseeing the financials, billing, payables, payroll, insurance, taxes, and any other duty that needed attention.
Prior to joining TAE, I spent the last 40+ years in healthcare finance. I served as CFO where I focused on finances and operations in hospitals. It’s the same as TAE: provide quality services, bill, collect, and pay the bills. As in hospital finance, I focus on all aspects of the business.
I grew up in Columbus Ohio, earned a Bachelor’s in Accounting degree from Franklin University. Twenty years later I earned my Master’s in Hospital Administration from the University of St. Francis, Joliet Ill. I’ve served at hospitals in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and have spent my last thirty-two years working in hospitals stretching from the Blue Ridge mountains to the east coast of North Carolina.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife of 52+ years, our two sons and our five grandchildren. It is a blessing watching them grow and create their own dreams. We also enjoy working on renovation projects around the home and crafting live edge tables.
